I’m Rachel, I photograph weddings and elopements for couples who want to break free from the norm.
I help couples tell their story in a way that’s true to them. When couples don’t want to have the traditional big wedding day experience, full of expectations that they don’t identify with…they call me!
If you want to get married on a beach, in a forest, up a mountain, on a dog sled or even high up in a hot air balloon then I’m the photographer for you!
I’ve traveled as far as 1,500 miles with couples who want to say, “I do,” in a unique way, in their dream location.
My mission is to capture the story of your day, creating natural, romantic and feel-good photos that show off your personality and tells the world: “this is me!”
I love and find the beauty in raw, everyday life. The natural things, that we often overlook. Capturing those emotions, telling the story of the person behind the picture, is where I find the best shots.
I appreciate every person I meet and the uniqueness they bring to the shoot. I strive to show the personality of the person I am shooting, and never forget to take advantage of those beautiful “in-between” moments.
With over 10 years as a specialist elopement photographer, it’s safe to say that this isn’t my first rodeo.
I’ve spent a large amount of my life packing a bag, hopping on a plane and photographing couples’ ceremonies in their dream location.

I started photographing elopements over 10 years ago after I realized two things:
– the stress, and financial burden that couples face when planning a traditional, spectacular wedding and how often it just wasn’t “them.”
– that I could combine my love of outdoor adventures with telling couples’ stories through photography.
My philosophy is to create an experience, not just take photos. To be help craft an immersive, romantic, adventurous and intentional ceremony that shows your uniqueness to the world.
And the photos let you relive that experience forever.
